The new look We Love Textpattern
Same site, with the same content, now with a fresh new look.
My apologies for lack of updates recently, I’ve been snowed under with work. Rest assured that your entries have not been lost and all of them will be added to the site in the coming days and weeks.
I hope you like the new look and I hope you continue to submit your Textpattern powered sites.

Interviewed by TXPQ
Peter Moulding from TXPQ a new Textpattern site asking questions like What makes Textpattern so cool? and Who makes TXP so cool?, interviewed me over the weekend.
I fielded questions about everything from my first website to why I advocate Textpattern as my main Content Management System of choice and ended with a few questions about We Love Textpattern. Click here to read the full interview.
* There is an ad spot available on We Love Textpattern for $40/month. Interested? Get in touch.

Some stats, thanks and a plugin plug!
Almost 50 days after launching We Love Textpattern there are almost 200 sites and over 120 people subscribed to the RSS Feed. Not bad, be sure to submit your textpattern powered site if you haven’t already.
I would like to take a moment to say thanks to Shaun Inman for being the inaugural sponsor here at WLTXP. I’m sure a lot of you are already running his fantastic stat tracking package Mint, if not head on over to haveamint.com and check it out.
For September we have a new sponsor, XHTML Slicer.
XHTML Slicer is a fast and easy template slicing service for busy web developers and designers; we transform your template/design into valid XHTML and CSS based on web standards so you can carry on building your website.
So if you are interested in handing this part of your project over to someone else, these are definitely the guys for the job. They also offer Textpattern integration which is a bonus!
Lastly I would like to plug a new Textpattern plugin that is very useful for people using the Feedburner service. htn_feedstats gets the current number of subscribers to your feed via the Feedburner API. If you are looking to publish your feed count, htn_feedstats is the best way to do it!

Another great style which can be previewed and downloaded from a post on Jon’s Flickr account. Thanks to Kevin Finlayson from Dust and Mold for letting me know about it.

Welcome to WLTXP
A week ago today (Tuesday 10th of July) I launched welovetxp.com with the hope that the Textpattern community would finally have a place to show off their fine work.
There are so many great sites out there using Textpattern as their content management system of choice, but you really wouldn’t know! That is the beauty of Textpatterns fantastic architecture and templating system!
Over 80 sites in the first week is very pleasing, and hopefully welovetxp.com can be a great resource for people looking to see the true power of what you can do with Textpattern.
